1902 Church Restoration & Addition

Working with a previous client and a local architect JDR was able to go from design to done on the restoration and addition to this historic church in Thunderbolt, GA.

Recognized for its excellence, the restoration was awarded federal and state Historic Preservation Tax Credits, demonstrating the potential for adaptive reuse of religious structures. This Historic Preservation project won the Preservation Award from the Historic Savannah Foundation in 2025.
